The Upcycle 30 Gallon Blue Rain Barrel collects pure, free rainwater from your roof and holds it cleanly and safely, to be used for all your plant and garden needs. Made from food-quality recycled barrels, they'll never rust or rot. A protective screen on top keeps out mosquitoes and leaves. You can even leave it out during the winter.
Home craft painters love the blue barrel's color, a perfect sky or water background for their designs. (We recommend using Krylon Fusion paint for plastic.) Upcycle rain barrels are linkable, so a single downspout can fill as many barrels as you want. The convenient spigot on the bottom fits any standard garden hose for easy watering. An overflow fitting lets you divert extra water away from your house. Thus far I like it. The size is perfect for a smaller situation. It is easy to drain. The color is pleasant. I like that it is made of recycled materials.

To keep nitrate levels in control, I dump about 15 gals of fish tank water into barrel. From there into the garden via a soaker hose.

Ordered this barrel and it arrived on time. Set up is easy and the barrel is definitely comparable in price to others of the same size. Not gorgeous- but it can be painted (might be my next project). Thank you! P.s. still wondering how many mosquitoes will breed in the lip and or top of the water because the mess is pretty wide

Nice bucket and placment of the hose attachents, but they leak!! They drilled a hole a stuck them in without any gaskets. I had to silicone the holes to stop the leaking. For 10cents more they could have had a very nice product.
