I'm very plased so far with this set, except for the shipping on the bamboo pail. The pail arrived missing the lid and with one side of the handle detached. Otherwise, the pail seems quite nice. HayNeedle Customer Service offered a refund for the pail though, so no complaints there. Had the pail been complete, I'm sure it would be a very nice pail.
Otherwise, The rest of the set seems like good sturdy equipment! The compost tumbler is simple and feels heavy duty. it rotates easily on 4 rollers and is light enough to move around easily when empty.
The rain barrel feels like good thick material so I'm sure it will hold up for a long time. I am looking forward to getting this system all hooked up so I can reayl see how great a barrel it is!.
All in all? A great buy for the price.

I am a beginning gardener and bought this package based on the price and other reviews. I researched everywhere to find a better price and had no luck finding a comparable deal. I loved the fact that these products needed minimal assembly ( I only had to attach the brass fitting to the barrel). The barrel and composter were light weight and easy to handle. In using the rain barrel, I wish the product description would include a suggestion to also buy a pump for best results. Due to my own inexperience, I did not anticipate this need. The composter is better than I had expected. I can roll it to my yard debris pile, fill it up, then roll it back to the stand. I would like to say that the stand tends to collect rain water at the bottom, but it is easily removed, so not really a big deal. Overall, I love these products and would recommend these to any small gardener. It's a quality product that I plan on using for many years. You can't beat this deal! You will love them.

I have been gardening for years but have never had the compost container. I am looking forward to this year's harvest! My compost has been started and my rain barrel in place (just waiting for the next rain). We have been in drought conditions with water restrictions for many years...this has been a purchase I should have made long ago. I believe that aside from building it myself, this price is about as good as it gets for this complete package!
I gave 5 stars because of the communication and ease of setting up.
