I have just started composting so I can't say how well it works yet. I do know that it was ready to go and very easy to assemble when I got it. It's easy to open, close and turn. The only thing is that the spout for the compost tea is at the bottom. So, I need to go get some blocks to put it on so I can get the liquids out. Other than that, I am pleased with it so far.

I've just started to compost and I was excited to get this compost bin because of the compost tea collector and it's ease of aeration. I've added the proper ration of green/brown materials and it's not composting. It advertises as possibly composting in as little as 2 weeks - I don't think so. It has now been a month and it is starting to smell a little too.

Bought two of these for my adult children. So far they both love it...and will be getting a second one...for each so as one is composting they are filling the next.
Fast to use (just put in the faucet knob) and very easy to turn. Love the opener.
This looks like it will last forever and not change over time, since there are no metal parts to rust and ruin the action.
